Modern Bakeries Facilities

We're everywhere you need us, with 13 ovens operating in plants in the Middle Atlantic and Midwest. Our plants in Front Royal, Virginia and North Sioux City, South Dakota are two of the newest baking facilities in North America. Our product capabilities range from the everyday to the exotic.

Advanced Pilot Plant Facility

Our pilot plant facility in Front Royal, Virginia features state-of-the-art equipment, including traditional baking and extrusion for testing all formulas. We can quickly reach pre-production speed and simulate exactly what our client's customers will receive once full production is underway.

  Extensive Research and Development Capabilities

We can help at any phase of planning or production. For some manufacturers, we've started with nothing more than an idea - creating formulas, configurations, and production methods to develop a prototype. In other cases, we work hand-in-hand with a manufacturer's own research and development people, adding our resources where applicable.

Packaging R&D

We can produce packaging, or supplement our partner's capabilities. We evaluate packaging by testing materials against performance specifications for size, style, construction, stiffness, thickness and weight. We also test comparative packaging barrier qualities for moisture and heat transfer, grease penetration, air-tightness, and heat sealing.

Advanced Technology

To ensure that product standards are met at every step, Interbake utilizes a totally integrated information system that links every process. With EDI capabilities, we can exchange data immediately to ensure accurate demand forecasting and efficient purchasing and scheduling. All key bakery operators use personal computers loaded with statistical process controls software, which monitors and helps to manage process control of every phase of the production process and insures consistency throughout. Our technological expertise allows us to deliver best-cost products for our customers.
