Interbake Foods believes in doing our part to preserve resources, and protect our environment. Our greatest efforts have been to develop ways to reduce waste in the energy and materials we use.  We consistently strive to:

• Downsize or eliminate packaging where possible
• Reduce the amount of corrugated used by the facilities
• Improve transportation efficiency
• Re-use packaging at the bakeries
• Recycle food waste
• Use energy efficient lighting
• Promote paperless operations
• Use 100% post-consumer recycled board that has been certified by the Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI)

We also encourage our employees to implement creative ideas for waste management and reduction, recycling and re-use programs, and we responsibly manage all aspects of our business to meet or exceed recognized environmental, health and safety standards and legal requirements.
