Interbake Foods LLC is a baked goods manufacturer with over 100 years of business experience. We are an industry leader recognized for our process-centered culture. We focus on market niches where broad-based operational excellence is the primary determinant for success. With over 1,000 employees in six different locations, we are the third largest cookie/cracker manufacturer in North America.
There are two divisions within Interbake Foods:
- Norse Dairy Systems (NDS), one of the leading suppliers of ice cream sandwich wafers, cones, filling machinery and packaging to the worldwide ice cream novelty industry, and
- Cookie & Cracker, which includes:
- ABC Bakers, the oldest and most experienced licensed Girl Scout Cookie baker, and
- The Consumer Products Division, a Best in Class supplier of cookies to America's leading food retailers. We also bake custom cookie and cracker products to serve the supplemental, new product, and seasonal baking needs of many national and regional food producers.

Interbake operates a large, modern baking facility in North Sioux City, South Dakota, which is famous for producing low-fat devils food cookies as well as all our Retail/Contract and Girl Scout Cookies. We have the newest baking facility in North America, located in Front Royal, Virginia, which produces ice cream sandwich wafers, as well as a variety of crackers. Our Columbus, Ohio facility is home to the engineering and paper products operations for our NDS division, while ice cream cones are baked at both our Green Bay, Wisconsin and Somerset, Pennsylvania plants. Our corporate office is located in Richmond, Virginia, the home of Southern Biscuit Works, our founding company.
